Giornata densa di vittorie quella di oggi.
Riapre La Fenice, distrutta dal sistema di lavoro del mitico nordest (dove gli elettricisti non vogliono pagare penali). Ci sono entrato la prima volta nel 1979 o 1980, non ricordo se per un concerto di Ravi Shankar o qualcosa sulla Secessione Viennese. Una palla comunque. Ora, rivedendola in tv nella serata inaugurale, tutto sembra come prima. Colori più vivi, forse, e sicuramente un odore diverso.
In questa serata inugurale nessun veneziano, solo vip. Ma Geroge Clooney e Al Pacino pare non siano venuti, i loro posti sono vuoti. E Bruno Vespa a commentare. Venezia ringrazia. Della serata salverei solo la violinista bionda alla destra di Muti. Molto brava...
Anche Bush oggi sarà contento, dopo la cattura di Saddam Hussein. La cosa non mi interessa per nulla, credo riguardi solo il popolo iracheno. Loro saranno contenti. Ma chissà quando lo avranno Saddam, perché l'asso di picche a quest'ora sarà già in Usa, a raccontare dove cazzo ha nascosto le armi di distruzione di massa che non si trovano.
Ed anche per Berlusconi è stata una vittoria, lui dice, la conclusione del vertice UE: "per l'Italia è stato un trionfo". Si riferiva al fatto di avere portato a casa, a Parma, la sede dell'agenzia alimentare.
Questa è l'unica nostra buona notizia, finisce finalmente il semestre italiano.
