No, Nizza no!
Caffè in piedi e fuga di buon'ora dall'albergo più triste della Provenza. Direzione Aix-en Provence per una colazione come si deve. Lì puoi scegliere tra una petit de jeuner "intercontinental" a 9 euro, oppure "belle epoque" a 6,5 euro.
Forse sono un po' condizionato dal tamponamento di ieri, ma questi paesi per gente discretamente snob, dove un sandwich al salmone si chiama "Le Norvegien" o un panino al prosciutto "Le Parme", dove il barboncino non usa il collare ma un foulard, dove puoi vedere ai piedi della gente i sandali più chic, dove le strade profumano almeno di lavanda, questi paesi - dicevo - cominciano a starmi un po' sul cazzo. O forse è solo un po' stanchezza.
Si risale allora verso Forcalquier, strade davvero belle in moto, folate di caldo africano e concerti di cicale che ad ogni curva cambiano compositore.
Ogni tanto una biere a pression.
Da Digne-les-Bains giù direzione Nizza per tornare in Italia dal Colle di Tenda. Strada godibile, curve veloci e strapiombi, e tante moto.
Attento, mentalmente mi ripeto, attento a non entrare a Nizza, ci deve essere una strada alla fine che fa evitare Nizza. Ma naturalmente a Nizza ci finisco, merda!, di sabato e alle sei di sera, merda! merda!
Ci perdo più di un'ora per uscirne, l'unica città di Francia senza una rotonda, effluvi di crema solare che impregnano l'aria, una spiaggia larga come un sentiero, Nizza, la città più americana d'europa e quindi la più inutile.
Nizza! Che un'onda anomala di olio Coppertone la unga per sempre!
Monaco, Menton, Ventimiglia! Cazzo cazzo cazzo!
Arrivo sul Tenda che inizia a fare buio e anche un po' freddo, comincio ad essere un po' stanco e con le sigarette in riserva. Giù giù: Limone Piemonte, Cuneo, Fossano. Mi fermo lì in un albergo segnalato da Raspelli per dormire come si deve.
Domani gli ultimi 6/700 km verso il torrido nord-est.
