Bis ans Ende der Welt
Uno dei film più belli, nella mia personale classifica, esce finalmente tra pochi giorni in dvd: Fino alla fine del mondo (Bis ans Ende der Welt), di Wim Wenders.
Il film più ambizioso di Wenders, ma anche il più sfortunato. Preparato per 14 anni, poi realizzato nel 1990 durante un anno intero in giro per il mondo.
La durata originale era di 18 ore, limate a 2 e mezza nella versione che i distributori avevano accettato. Ma Wenders era depresso per il risultato e lavorò ad una successiva versione della durata di 4 ore e mezza, presentata a Roma lo scorso novembre, ed ora in dvd.
Grande film con una colonna sonora straordinaria (tra i tanti: Lou Reed, REM, Talking Heads, Patti Smith, Depeche Mode, Elvis Costello).
