Quarti di finale di Coppa del mondo di rugby: com'era abbastanza prevedibile ieri la Nuova Zelanda ha fatto fuori il Sud Africa (29 - 9) e l'Australia ha eliminato la Scozia (33 - 16). Ma le sorprese credo vengano dalle partire di oggi: la Francia ha surclassato l'Irlanda (43 - 21) e ha dimostrato di essere la pretendente alla vittoria finale, anche perché l'Inghilterra ha faticato molto più del previsto con il Galles (28 - 17) prendendo tre mete e realizzandone solo una. Quel Galles che sembrava dovesse essere alla nostra portata ha fatto vedere i limiti difensivi dei tuttineri e poi ha reso la vita difficile ai bianchi...
A questo punto la semifinale di domenica prossima Inghilterra - Francia sarà un match all'ultimo sangue, mentre quella di sabato tra Nuova Zelanda - Australia mi sembra decisamente in mano agli All Blacks.
Dopo questi quarti il mio pronostico per la vittoria finale si sta spostando verso la Francia.
